Conacul Grigorescu is not a classic restaurant. It is a Slow Food destination in the UNESCO Geopark Buzău Land — a farm-to-table restaurant, an artisanal food shop, and a place for culinary experiences, set on a restored estate around a historical 1930s mansion with large garden, renovated and partially rebuilt over 10+ years, in Rătești, Buzău County.
Every dish and every product tells a food story: local producers, seasonal ingredients, and regional traditions from Buzău and the Dealu Mare wine region.

Our shop is open to everyone. Come in, explore artisanal products from 30+ local producers, taste before you buy, and take a story home. No reservation needed.
🍽️ Weekend Farm-to-Table Lunch — reservation required
Saturday & Sunday, 11:00 – 18:00
A seasonal menu built around local ingredients from Buzău and Dealu Mare — fresh bread, soups, artisanal cheese and cold cut platters, meat and vegetarian mains, dessert. Short menu, long preparation.
