Most team off-sites look the same. Ours does not. Conacul Grigorescu offers a working space with real character — a 1930s manor in the UNESCO Global Geopark Buzău Land, 110 km from Bucharest — combined with a Slow Food table that gives people something to talk about long after the meeting ends.

Serving style
Buffet — the way it should be
For corporate events we serve all menus as a generous Slow Food buffet. Guests help themselves at their own pace — during breaks, between sessions, or in a dedicated lunch window. The table stays open so the rhythm of the day is yours, not ours.
Everything is pre-prepared with care: artisanal breads, cheese and charcuterie from local Buzău producers, soups, seasonal mains, and dessert.
One menu, chosen from our preselected seasonal options at booking — clean, efficient, and consistently good.
Beyond the meeting room
Team Building Activities
Every activity below can be added to either package. On-site activities run directly at the mansion; off-site experiences require transport (approximately 20–45 min from us, arrangements on request). We work with trusted local guides for all outdoor programmes.
Before you enquire — what we can and cannot do
AV equipment available: WiFi, projector & screen in both the mezzanine and the restaurant conference setup. Microphone available. No PA system for large-format presentations.
No overnight accommodation for corporate day events (unless the full 3-apartment package is booked by the group). Most corporate clients travel on the day — 1.5 hours from central Bucharest.
Set menus & buffet format. To ensure consistent quality and smooth service on the day, we work with a curated set of seasonal options confirmed at booking. This keeps things simple for you and lets us focus on getting every detail right. Dietary requirements and allergies are always accommodated.
Outdoor programme is weather-dependent. Pool & garden access is May–September. We recommend a covered indoor fallback for mixed-season events.
Off-site activities require advance coordination — guides, transport, and timing must be confirmed at least 3 weeks ahead.
Minimum group: 12 persons. Maximum: 50 persons (outdoor cocktail format) / 30 persons (conference room) / 14 persons (mezzanine meeting).

Not every celebration needs a ballroom. Some moments deserve a quieter kind of setting — a garden, a long table, food that actually means something. Conacul Grigorescu is a family-run place, and we treat private events the way we would want our own occasions to be treated: attentive, unhurried, without unnecessary fuss.

A few things worth knowing before you enquire
Capacity: 10–50 persons indoors or in the garden. Up to 30 persons is the setting where both spaces work at their best — enough room to celebrate, without losing the sense of place. We are not set up for large weddings requiring tent structures or external caterers.
All food and drink provided exclusively by our kitchen. To ensure a consistent experience for all guests, we kindly ask that no food or beverages be brought from outside. Our team takes care of everything — from the welcome table to the dessert — using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
Music & atmosphere. Soft background music and live acoustic performances can be arranged on request. We do not have a dance floor, DJ booth, or PA system for amplified events.
Set menus & buffet format. To ensure consistent quality and smooth service on the day, we work with a curated set of seasonal options confirmed at booking. Dietary requirements and allergies are always accommodated.
Overnight accommodation: 3 apartments for the whole group only — not available as individual bookings. We are happy to recommend nearby guesthouses for larger groups needing additional rooms.
Advance booking required. We ask for a minimum of 2 weeks notice for private events. Weekend dates in June–September and public holidays fill up early — we recommend booking well in advance.

Easter Brunch
On April 13, we look forward to welcoming you back for a meal in our carefully renovated space, which we are delighted to reopen with an Easter brunch designed to showcase authentic, local flavors.

We’ve prepared a special Farm-to-table buffet, featuring new recipes inspired by tradition and carefully reimagined, made with local, seasonal, and sustainably sourced ingredients, alongside producers from the Slow Food Community Buzău. You’ll find artisanal cheeses, traditional cold cuts, seasonal hot and cold dishes, bread baked on the day of the event, and organic wine from Dealu Mare—an Easter brunch thoughtfully crafted with festive flair, in a place that is very dear to us and that we can’t wait for you to rediscover.
