Peas, the Star of Three Dishes
In episode 7 of Savoare la Conac cu Juranda we cook alongside Sorin Pogona of Fresco Verde, and the star of all three dishes is a seemingly simple ingredient: the pea.
We discover the story of Fresco Verde, a Romanian vegetable grower, and learn more about the journey vegetables make from the field to our plates.
And Juranda shows how an ingredient this simple can become the star of three different dishes, full of colour and flavour.

Good Taste Starts with Simple Ingredients | Mădălina Cocan
In episode 9 of Savoare la Conac cu Juranda we meet Mădălina Cocan again, co-founder of Lăptăria cu Caimac, for another day of cooking at Conacul Grigorescu.
Alongside Juranda, Mădălina puts together a menu built around good ingredients, simple flavours and the pleasure of cooking without hurrying.
Beyond the recipes, it is a conversation about a love of good food, about respect for the ingredient, and about how tradition and modern ideas can sit naturally at the same table.
The Lăptăria cu Caimac products round out the dishes, and the stories told around the table remind us that flavour does not always mean complication. Sometimes good ingredients are enough.

Charlie Ottley on Romania and Its Flavour
In episode 10 of Savoare la Conac cu Juranda we have a special guest: Charlie Ottley — journalist, filmmaker and the man behind Flavours of Romania, the series that carried Romania’s stories, landscapes and beauty to an international audience.
This time Charlie leaves the roads of Romania for a few hours and joins us in the summer kitchen at Conacul Grigorescu. We cook together with local ingredients, discover authentic flavours and, of course, talk about Romania — about the places and the people that made Charlie fall in love with this country, and about how food, too, can tell the story of a place.
And because there are two people with a great deal of energy in the same kitchen, there is no shortage of jokes, unscripted moments and good humour.
A delicious, sparkling episode, full of stories — one not to miss.
