Zacusca with truffles
On the same latitude as Piedmont in Italy, favourable climate and dense forests, Buzău County offers excellent conditions for the perpetuation of the black gold of Buzău: truffles.

Serving tips: Zacusca ennobled with truffles is a special preparation. We advise you to bake in muffin tins a few baskets of pie sheets (6 pie sheets cut into 10 cm squares, spread with melted butter each and overlap forming a star. Carefully place them in the muffin tin and bake at 200 degrees until golden brown, 5-6 min). Serve the Zacusca in these little baskets on a platter with slices of homemade bread.
