
Juranda is passionate about homemade, artisanal food and only uses local ingredients from her own production or the surrounding orchards, forests and farms. She combines traditional Romanian recipes with international influences to create a unique Slow Food cuisine.
After living in Wroclaw, Paris and Bavaria for more than 10 years, she returned to Romania in 2008 and moved to Buzău County, where her family originally comes from. She became co-owner and chef of the Grigorescu Mansion, a farm-to-table restaurant and event venue located at the entrance to the UNESCO Global Geopark Buzău Land.
