The sweetness of cherries always reminds us of childhood, the burning summer sun and the smell of the Queen of the Night flower.
I wanted a combination that would intertwine the flavors of cherries with something that would elevate them to another level. That’s how Tonka Cherry Jam was born. The cherries come from the Buzau region and Tonka is the seed of a fruit that comes from a tree that grows in Central and North America.
The aroma of Tonka beans is sweet, very strong and complex, a mixture of cinnamon, almonds, vanilla, cloves and tobacco.

Ingredients:
Cherry, sugar, Tonka seeds, grapefruit peel, lemon peel, sumac, lemongrass, mint, rosemary

Content: 106 ml

Serving suggestions:
The cherries go great with chocolate. They would make an excellent crowning touch to a cocoa cake with creamed urda and citrus zest or a bitter chocolate mousse. Cherry jam-based syrup for the cake would add extra flavour.
